Te mahi | About the Role

This role is critical to the growth and sustainability of TH’s fundraising efforts. You’ll drive bequests, legacy gifts, major donor relationships, philanthropic giving, and grant opportunities — securing significant contributions and building powerful connections. With a strong focus on data-driven strategies and best practices, you’ll help maximise donor acquisition, retention, and long-term support.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our donor relationships, making a real impact. Working closely with the Fundraising team, you will:

• Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with major donors, philanthropists, and bequest prospects through personalised engagement.
• Develop and deliver strategies to grow philanthropic giving.
• Monitor and analyse program performance to optimise future fundraising efforts.
• Create and share impact reports that showcase the difference our donors make.
• Organise events, tours, and exclusive updates to deepen donor engagement.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

• 3+ years' experience in fundraising leadership or management roles
• Proven track record in digital and direct mail appeals, regular giving, and mid to high-value donor stewardship
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A fun, engaging personality and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and data-driven fundraising tools, and meticulous attention to detail.
