Job Description

Are you passionate about great coffee and creating a welcoming atmosphere? Tōtara Hospice’s not-for-profit café, Aroha Eatery, is looking for a dynamic, well-presented Barista to join our friendly team! This sole-charge Saturday role will have you brewing amazing coffee, serving our wonderful community, and handling a variety of café tasks from making smoothies to adding the perfect finishing touches to beautiful salads.

What you’ll do:

  • Craft delicious coffees and serve up smiles
  • Take orders, manage the till, and handle cash
  • Work with food—smoothies, toasted sandwiches, and more!
  • Keep things tidy with pack down, sweeping, and dishes, including opening and closing responsibilities
