We're on the hunt for a Retail Manager who’s as excited about thrift as we are—and ready to lead our new brand that’s all about heart, soul, and second chances.

You will lead a team of enthusiastic volunteers, creating displays that dazzle, and making every customer feel like they’ve hit the jackpot. But here’s the best part: every sale helps fund palliative care services in our local communities. Talk about shopping with a purpose!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for driving and delivering performance outcomes across all The 2nd Edition retail channels, including two brick-and-mortar stores and our online store.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team of volunteers, managing rosters, orientation, and training.
  • Direct volunteer activities to meet sales objectives, analyze stock, plan inventory, and manage merchandising and stock displays.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication with senior management, team members, volunteers, and the local community.

Desired Skills and Experience

Ngā pūkenga e hiahiatia/What we would like to see from you:

  • Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence
  • Previous retail and sales experience in a leadership position
  • Strong merchandising skills with a flair for implementing themes suited to the local market
  • Proficient understanding of MS Excel
  • NZ Working Rights
